irst of all, these are TIGHTS. Don't confuse these with leggings, which hold the overall approximate length and only stretch somewhat. These are tights; they are closer to hosiery than leggings. When you pull them on, the crotch SHOULD only go about halfway up the thighs. You then treat them like hosiery, even though the material is thicker. That is, gently and gradually stretch the material upwards from your feet to ankles and so forth. Do NOT haul them up by the crotch; they will tear. The fabric is slightly tougher than hosiery, but not much. Like hosiery, these can run if you get a hole in them, but they don't snag as easily or run as easily once snagged. They will, however, snag on something rough and much more easily than leggings; don't complain about this. This is all normal and what you should expect in TIGHTS.
